Yes, chicken is an all-round winning protein for most dogs and is ideal for all life stages. Chicken is recommended for dogs or puppies who are new to a raw food diet. And great for dogs with arthritis or inflammatory bowel disease.

Beef is a great option for active dogs or puppies. It’s high in protein and is a rich source of iron. It is not recommended for dogs experiencing any joint inflammation, degenerative conditions or skin sensitives.

Lamb is an excellent choice for underweight dogs and suitable for all life stages. It contains the naturally occurring anti-cancer fatty acid Conjugated Linoleic Acid. It is not recommended in instances where signs of pancreatitis are present.

Turkey is a popular protein for fussy eaters. An excellent poultry alternative with anti-inflammatory properties for dogs with known chicken allergies. Turkey is also much leaner than chicken, so makes a lighter alternative for those dogs who are watching their weight.

Roo is the ideal option for dogs who are obese are mildly overweight. It is the leanest of the meats and also the highest source of protein and Conjugated Linoleic Acid. Roo is not suitable for puppies, pregnant and lactating mothers or as the primary protein for a prolonged period of time.

Goat is a healthy and much leaner alternative to beef and lamb. Low in saturated fat and calories but high in protein and iron. It is suitable for dogs with sensitivities, digestive issues or allergies.
